35 weeks along and going strong!

We're breaking a record here! Since both of our girls were born prematurely, we're very excited about having our baby boy still inside of me at this point. We know that the longer he can stay 'cooking in my oven,' the stronger and bigger he'll be. This would hopefully cut down on the time that he would need to spend in the NICU after he's born. What a blessing! I'm sure a lot of this has to do with the fact that my doctor put me on bed rest a few weeks ago. Nathan has been doing EVERYTHING!!! He's always been extra helpful, but he's really taking on all responsibilites now. He's amazing! Celeste helped out tons when she was here visiting. Also, Nathan's parents were able to come and help out for a week. I have amazing friends, too, who have helped with the girls while Nathan goes to work! I'm scheduled to have my c-section on Feb. 11, and will be 37 weeks along. It'll be interesting to see how much longer we can go before baby boone comes, and if we can even make it to this scheduled date! We're also excited for my mom to come and help after the baby is born! We'll try to keep you posted.

Hey Julia! I love the blog and congrats on the lengthy pregnancy. I wish I could be there to help you. I haven't been pregnant for one entire year which is remarkable considering that I spent two solid years being pregnant. I don't miss it a bit, although the newborns are really wonderful...well for about a two days before the exhaustion sets in. Oh, sorry I didn't mean to say that. Good luck with your delivery and the arrival of that precious baby.
take care,
Michelle
